About the event
Ellen Hoffman and David Owens first met through a shared admiration of each others’ music as regulars at a Seattle open mic. The two quickly found they had a lot in common, from their love of music, to their interest in philosophy and shared sense of humor. The result is a dynamic blend of jazz and folk with captivating vocals, lyrical guitar lines, and songs that read like poems–soothing, haunting, and sweet. In April 2019, they formed Parker Ave and released their first EP, Ohio.
